Health Relay ("we", "us", and "our") provides an iOS app that helps you sync authorized Fitbit data to Apple Health. This Privacy Policy explains what we process, why we process it, and your controls.
1. Data We Process
- Fitbit authorization data needed to keep your connection active, such as OAuth tokens and granted scopes.
- Fitbit data categories you choose to sync, such as steps and optional metrics when available.
- Apple Health permission state and write results required to complete sync operations.
- Minimal local sync diagnostics, such as timestamps and status codes, for troubleshooting and reliability.
2. How We Use Data
- Authenticate your Fitbit connection.
- Fetch only the Fitbit data scopes you authorize.
- Write selected records into Apple Health.
- Run integrity checks and prevent duplicate writes.
3. Storage and Retention
- Fitbit tokens are stored on your device using secure storage controls.
- Sync metadata is stored locally on your device.
- You can stop processing by disconnecting Fitbit access or uninstalling the app.
4. Data Sharing
We currently do not sell personal data, including personal health data. We currently do not use personal health data for ad targeting. Data is exchanged with Fitbit and Apple services only as required to run the sync features you enable.
